Far Away Projects is proud to fiscally sponsor over 50 global initiatives working in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

This #GivingTuesday, the national day of giving to nonprofit organizations, we are launching our annual fundraising drive and asking our friends, family and partners to consider a small contribution. Your support helps us maximize the impact of our projects’ efforts from all around the world. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated! With these funds, we will expand our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) services, designed to connect companies with change-making initiatives aligned with their values. 

We recently attended the UN Climate Change Conference in Egypt COP27- and are more dedicated than ever to empowering local groups to build community resilience and work together to achieve all 17 SDGs. Our Far Away Projects’ program initiatives range from youth education in the British Virgin Islands, diverting plastic waste from oceans and landfills in Hawaii, to providing access for marginalized voices in Afghanistan, and conducting citizen science expeditions in Key Largo. Arthur Hicks Tennis Youth Academy provides an affordable, accessible, and engaging tennis experience to the local children of the British Virgin Islands, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to play tennis and experience the benefits of the sport.

Alive In is a digital media platform that supports marginalized voices, in particular those most affected by events, to tell their own stories. Alive in Afghanistan focuses on covering the people of Afghanistan in provinces that have been out of media attention so far.

Key Largo Citizen Science Diving Project envisions conducting citizen-science, donor-participant research expeditions to help protect coral reefs in the Florida Keys. This program would involve citizens in hands-on scientific research involving two 7-day research expeditions in 2023.
