Our goal is to sustainably create an abundance of resources for individuals and collectives facing incredible need as they live in extreme poverty and are excluded from all social and other services, while facing ongoing discrimination and some of the worst gender-based violence in the world.
Arthur Hicks Tennis Youth Academy
Our mission is to provide an affordable, accessible, and engaging tennis experience to the local children of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), ensuring that every child has the opportunity to play tennis, and experience the benefits of the sport.

Our mission is to assist young refugees from different nationalities to become job creators and social entrepreneurs in Nakivale refugee settlement.

We envisions conducting citizen-science, donor-participant research expeditions to help protect coral reefs in the Florida Keys.
How we can help
Fiscal sponsorship is a contractual relationship between a sponsoring 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Far Away Projects) and an organization, group or individual whose activities fall within the sponsoring nonprofit’s mission. This relationship enables the 501(c)(3) nonprofit to extend certain benefits of nonprofit roles to the sponsored group, such as being able to accept donations that are tax-deductible, without the project group having to go through filing for nonprofit status by itself. In other words: we built an entire organization so that social impact projects don’t have to go through the long process of gaining nonprofit 501(c)(3) status to accept donations.
Types of projects we support
We support projects who’s missions align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our projects come from all over the world and focus on a wide range of issues, from coral restoration, to plastic waste, to community development.
We support both established Non-Governmental organizations, and early-stage projects. If you are seeking fiscal sponsorship for your project, we encourage you to apply below, or contact us with further questions.
