Far Away Projects is a 501(c)3 nonprofit fiscal sponsorship organization that supports global social impact programs and grassroots efforts around the world.

We connect social entrepreneurs to vital resources, tools, and support to grow their initiatives. Our project leaders come from around the world with powerful ideas to transform their local communities. Projects are selected for fiscal sponsorship based on their alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

While each project in our portfolio addresses a variety of Sustainable Development Goals, Far Away Project’s mission statement is firmly rooted in the 17th SDG: partnerships for the goals. This goal includes investing heavily in capacity development and multi-stakeholder partnerships that work toward achieving all 16 preceding SDGs.

In addition to fiscal sponsorship, Far Away provides a comprehensive range of services including fundraising tools, legal compliance, technical training, media tools, and project support.
